Ipad--shifting perspective issue

edited December 2012 in iPad
Hi,
I have an iPad2, and I want to use it on it's side, in the landscape format, but it keeps shifting perspective.
How do I stop it from constantly switching and keep it in the format I want?
Thanks,
Katie

  • Hello! If you go into the settings, on the right side you should see an option to "use side switch to", and the options are "lock rotation", and "mute". If you change this to "lock rotation", you can then flip the side switch (the one normally used to mute sounds), and the iPad should then stay in whatever mode you are currently in, whether it is landscape or portrait.

    Thanks,

  • I was looking for that feature too, thanks.
