MacBook Pro 13", A1278, Mid 2012, MD101LL/A, MD102/LL/A, Board#820-3115-A, 820-3115-B

This is the final form-factor of the 13" Pro non-retina MacBook.  It is significant in that it is the last 13" MacBook to have upgradeable RAM and hard drive.  It will also work with OS 10.14 Mojave, whereas previous years will only go as high as High Sierra.  The MD101LL/A has a 2.5GHZ i5 processor, whereas the MD102LL/A has a 2.9GHZ i7 processor.

Power-on pads are two tiny metal surfaces on MacBook logic boards.

To find the pads for a particular board, enter the year, screen size, and computer type below, and the relevant logic board with power-on pad locations will appear.  Click on the images for details and additional pictures.

Please let me know if you find errors, and if you have images of boards not listed, and I will be happy to include them!
