MacBook Pro 17", A1229, Mid/Late 2007, MA897LL/A, Board#820-2132-A

MacBook Pro 17", A1229, Mid/Late 2007, MA897LL/A, Board#820-2132-A

This board came with 2.4GHZ and 2.6GHZ processors.  The 17" aluminum Pro pads are especially hard to find because the board is so large, and the writing is so small.  Also of note -- highlighted in yellow are the additional "system reset" pads (which I admit I have not tried).

Power-on pads are two tiny metal surfaces on MacBook logic boards.

To find the pads for a particular board, enter the year, screen size, and computer type below, and the relevant logic board with power-on pad locations will appear.  Click on the images for details and additional pictures.

Please let me know if you find errors, and if you have images of boards not listed, and I will be happy to include them!
